A little bit about me
Born and bred in Indonesia but moved to Sydney at a young age of 8 with the family. Have lived here since, an Indonesian at heart and still calls Indonesia ‘home’.
It’s no secret that I love to eat, everything revolves around food. Loves to cook and bake. I am glad to say that my cooking and baking has improved immensely. I am still alive and so are those around me who have tried my cooking.
A not so closet shopaholic – loves shoes and bags – two essential accessories in life. Believes retail therapy is the best form of therapy.
Have lived in Sydney all my life, however, had the pleasure of living in Hong Kong for almost a year and absolutely loved it. ‘The Mother’ (who is my wonderful Husband) and I are now back in Sydney and we are looking for our next adventure together.
Two very close food blogger friends convinced me to start a blog, they both share the same passion as me, if not more. As for the name, Gastronomous Anonymous, a wonderful friend came up with the name a while back and he is an important part of this blog.
Gastronomous Anonymous is about my passion for food, whether it’s fine dining, cheap eats, ghetto or home cooked. It is also about my travels, my thoughts and most importantly, my life and those around me.
I don’t claim to be a food critique, writer or a photographer. All posts are my own opinions and all visits are anonymous.
If you would like to contact me you can do so on gastroanon@gmail.com

Hi there, nice review eating places, especially in Sydney. I will visit your blog for eating places in Sydney, next time I go there again.
I love your blog. Is there anyway you can search by a GA rating out of 10? It would be good to have a way to filter by your most favourite eats! 🙂
Hi Trev, thanks for your kind words! funnily, i have thought about doing a filter for ratings. It will take a while but will definitely try and do it! thanks again for dropping by 🙂
Hi there,
It’s good to know fellow Indonesian is also doing a food blog!! I started two years ago just to let my friends know about good places to eat but it has become an addiction!
Anyway, good luck with the writing and we might bump into each other one of these days 😀
Hi,
We would like to invite you and your husband to dine in at The Chalkboard Cafe, Waterloo as our guests.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Gretchen
